Antonio rejoins the Board after years of prior service to reaffirm his, and now SITIO’s, commitment of support to CPDC. Antonio Fiol-Silva is visiting Georgetown, South Carolina as a member of the ULI Advisory Services Committee focused on transforming the former ArcelorMittal steel mill and the Port of Georgetown into a thriving destination for residents and tourists, and a catalyst for economic development. Together with the Committee, Antonio will be reviewing the 150-acre site, and providing valuable direct experience gained from our recent transformative placemaking projects at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

SITIO’s Antonio Fiol-Silva was recently appointed to the Philadelphia Historical Commission by Mayor Jim Kenney. Established in 1955, the Philadelphia Historical Commission is the City of Philadelphia’s regulatory agency responsible for ensuring the preservation of historically significant buildings, structures, sites, objects, interiors and districts in Philadelphia.

The Hoover-Mason Trestle was recently awarded the 2016 ULI Philadelphia Willard G. Rouse III Award. As part of a celebration of the region’s top real estate projects, winners were announced at an awards ceremony on June 15th.
