An exhibition celebrating a practice focused on design deeply grounded in context and the transformative power of placemaking. The exhibition marks the10th anniversary of SITIO, as well as of Taller Puertorriqueño’s El Corazón Cultural Center.
The exhibition runs September 11th though November 14th

EN SU SITIO / IN ITS PLACE Antonio Fiol-Silva: architecture + urbanism will host an artist talk featuring Maurice Cox, Emma Bloomberg Professor in Residence of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University, in conversation with Antonio Fiol-Silva, Founding Principal of SITIO.
About the speakers:
Maurice D. Cox, Emma Bloomberg Professor in Residence of Urban Planning and Design
Maurice D. Cox is Emma Bloomberg Professor in Residence of Urban Planning and Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Prior to joining the GSD faculty, Cox was Director of Planning and Development for the City of Detroit between 2015-2019 and Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of Chicago between 2019-2023, where he focused on the adaptive challenges facing contemporary urban revitalization.
Antonio Fiol-Silva, FAIA, Founding Principal of SITIO architecture + urbanism
Antonio’s career has encompassed prominent roles in the shaping of cities and buildings through his work in both the public and private sectors – from his service as Director of Urbanism for the City of San Juan, to his current role as Founding Principal of the Philadelphia-based SITIO architecture + urbanism.
